Canmore To Banff via Mt. Rundle

Recently I spent a week in Canmore, Alberta shooting a short documentary sponsored by Merrell about a couple of loose canons doing epic shit atop mountains in the Canadian Rockies. The details of this project are still a mystery to all those not directly involved – But we did encounter early mornings, helicopters, avalanches, axe fights and wise words from legendary mountain climbers.   We shot with the Sony FS5 & used GoPro’s and Sony X70’s to cature the extreme adventures!   Being out west for the week, certainly made me miss living in that part of Canada.JR_heli.jpgIMG_4590.JPG

Boundless Season 3

2015 was one hell of a year.  I was brought on as a CameraMan for season 3 of Esquire Network’s adventure TV series Boundless.    Shooting with a skeleton crew of 5 ( Steven Bray, Merewyn Wagner, Josh Eady,  Jordan Eady & myself) we followed 4 top ultra marathon athletes around the world as they ran, biked, swam, climbed, paddled, & ski’d in every condition you can imagine.

Shooting these races involved precise planning & coordination, and the ability to run, bike, paddle or hang on too the various means of local transport.  We utilized ATV’s, UTV’s, helicopters, gators, speed boats, bicycles, snow mobiles, motorcycles, cars, trucks, kayaks, and of course a ton of running, to get inside access to the most extreme races this world has to offer.

Boundless Season 3 was an amazing experience, and I cannot wait to see the final product in April of 2016.

Burger Legend!!

I can never resist an offer for the Freshest Burgers in town! Ammar ( aka The Burger Papi ) & I spent the day shooting away at his Streetsville Location. He plans to do a huge social media push with all the content we created. Great stuff!!! The best part… He promised me free Burgers for Life!

Turbo Rules The World

As we shot Season 3 of Boundless, we would grab Paul ‘Turbo’ Trebilcock and sneak off to amazing vantage points to shoot scenes for the greatest – highest production value ever, lip-sync music video.    What better song to choose then Tears for Fears ‘Everybody Wants To Rule The World’

Watch the video below. It will make you feel good.

One Source – Patient Support

Mo Elabi from Antibody Communications contacted me to produce a few videos for his client Alexion and their One Source Program.    We spent the day filming with a bilingual female actor which made me realize that I wish I would have stuck with French class after grade 10.
